NeuroTrain GameTour: (the game part is pretty rough but levels are to be sequential tours)

level 1 Where does it hurt?

starting at a dorsal root laminea I, the task is to navigate your way to the SI in the Postcentral Gyrus (humunculus body representation) and gain points for both time and accuracy. It would be possible in theory to have more than one person in theneurotrain and to make this a team game, but I do not know how that would be coordinated in second life.


level 2 Where does it hurt and how much does it hurt?

starting at a dorsal root laminea I, the task is to navigate your way to the SI in the Postcentral Gyrus (humunculus body representation) and gain and then navigate to the rostral Anterior Cingulate Cortex and estimate the level of neural buzz points for both time and accuracy.

level 3 Where does it hurt, how much does it hurt, and then how can you make it a little better using the descending nerve pathway to the appropriate dorsal rootlaminea to inhibit the sensory pain signals?

starting at a dorsal root laminea I, the task is to navigate your way to the SI in the Postcentral Gyrus (humunculus body representation) and gain and then navigate to the rostral Anterior Cingulate Cortex and then assuming the pain is strong make your way across the cortex to the Raphe Nuclei (or the Pontine reticular formation, dorsolateral part or Tegmental reticular formation, media part) and then down descending pathways to the matching part of the dorsal root laminea interneuron to inhibit the sensory pain signal. Doing well at this level of the game would be measured by the amount of pain reduction which would be dependent on the accuracy of theNeuroTrain path -- how close was it with more pain reduction for more spatial accuracy.
